You&#8217;ll find delectable <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kabocha\" target=\"_blank\">kabocha squash<\/a> (aka Japanese pumpkin) at Song Sparrow&#8217;s booth. Vladimir should still have his amazing yellow watermelon too, but be quick. That harvest season is slowly drawing to a close.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re also scheduled to welcome a brand new bread vendor today: <a href=\"http:\/\/commoncrumb.com\" target=\"_blank\">Common Crumb Artisan Bakery<\/a>. Their bread is out of this world. Seriously.<\/p>\n<p>Today marks the second and final week that we&#8217;ll be hosting two traveling chefs from Portland, Oregon. They&#8217;re on the first leg of a cross-country trip and are serving prepared food at farmers markets along the way. They&#8217;ll be\u00a0<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">making Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai and Korean-style hotdogs. Their food got <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/EGFMarket\/photos\/a.1473722756209033.1073741830.1468636343384341\/1632625163652124\/?type=1&amp;comment_id=1633552520226055&amp;offset=0&amp;total_comments=2&amp;comment_tracking=%7B%22tn%22%3A%22R0%22%7D\" target=\"_blank\">rave reviews<\/a> last week, so this is your last chance to catch them before they&#8217;re off to Missoula! (Uyen and Geneo\u00a0blogged about their first week on the Spokane farmers market circuit; read it <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baconandbroth.com\/?p=11\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This Friday our free KERNEL kids activity is &#8230; wait for it \u2014 make your own potato head! Kids will get to put together potato heads the old school way using real potatoes.<\/p>\n<p>Lau, the classically trained pianist from Denmark, will be back to provide music.
