Starting this season (which begins on\u00a0<strong>June 10<\/strong>, by the way), you can find us\u00a0in the parking lot of the Adult Education Center located at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/2310+N+Monroe+St,+Spokane,+WA+99205\/@47.6790854,-117.4266724,15z\/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x549e18fd989db0c1:0x450c005f76f20fd2!6m1!1e1\" target=\"_blank\">2310 North Monroe<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This is amazing\u00a0news for a number of reasons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The market is now more visible and centrally located along North Monroe.<\/li>\n<li>The new location is right next to the stop for the #24 bus line and the only lighted crosswalk on North Monroe.<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;ll have a perfect basis\u00a0for collaboration with the Community Colleges of Spokane.<\/li>\n<li>There will be even more room\u00a0for vendors, music, activities and parking.<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s only two blocks from the former site, so it remains just as accessible to our existing patrons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The market day and times\u2014that is, every Friday from 3-7pm\u2014are unchanged.<\/p>\n<p>The folks at the\u00a0Adult Education Center and\u00a0Community Colleges of Spokane who helped make this happen in incredibly short order deserve a huge thanks. We&#8217;re looking forward to working with them further.<\/p>\n<p>We confess to leaving the parking lot of <a href=\"http:\/\/spokaneknoxpc.org\" target=\"_blank\">Knox Presbyterian<\/a> with a heavy heart. They&#8217;ve been ideal\u00a0hosts\u00a0for the past three\u00a0years \u2014 and they were unique in recognizing the mutually beneficial potential of our community-oriented farmers market\u00a0from the very beginning. We still intend\u00a0to honor their early involvement with waived vendor fees for Knox congregants. And we&#8217;re also working on ways to make sure that Korean food from Spokane Hope CRC, which shares the Knox building, is still available on\u00a0select market dates.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, please help spread the word by sharing this post far and wide!
